The island is boarded up (as if plywood could keep the winds away).

Everything and everyone is heading North.

I didn't think it necessary to do the whole "I'm in another country for a month so I'm going to blog about it" thing (I kept all that written down in a journal, old school). However, I did manage to draft a "Letter from Paris" for my local shore Patch....it gives a little taste of what I was up to.
